AETN is excited to announce a new ArkansasIDEAS resource for PD facilitators! Would you like to utilize ArkansasIDEAS video segments within your local face-to-face PD sessions? Our new training resource pages make it easier to do just that! It is now easier to access all videos and training materials needed to facilitate face-to-face versions of select professional development courses currently available through the ArkansasIDEAS LMS.

The Science of Reading: Essential ElementsDr. Wendy Farone shares an overview of the Five Essential Elements of Effective Reading Instruction and the research that serves as the basis for each of the five elements. Join us as she delves into the skills and the evidence-based practices that we should see at the elementary and secondary levels.
Dream Land: Little Rock's West 9th StreetThis course features the Emmy Award-winning AETN documentary, Dream Land: Little Rock's West 9th Street. The documentary seeks to recognize, memorialize, and share the history of West 9th Street and Dreamland Ballroom, and is filled with historic photographs and personal stories of Arkansans who once lived in the community.
Essential Lens SeriesThis five-part interdisciplinary arts integration series by Annenberg Learner showcases methods of using photography in education. Accompanying this series is Annenberg Learner's robust collection of photographs and other resources that may be helpful for teachers who wish to begin integrating the study of photography into their own content areas.
Chemistry: Challenges and Solutions SeriesThree new courses have been added as part of the Annenberg Learner series Chemistry: Challenges and Solutions. The courses are Matter and the Rise of Atomic Theory, The Behavior of Atoms, and Atoms and Light.
Physics for the 21st CenturyThree new courses have been added that complete the series Physics for the 21st Century, a collaboration of Annenberg Learner and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. The courses are Biophysics, Dark Matter, and Dark Energy.
Coding Block SeriesThe coding block series, which is now available for certified teachers, provides the background knowledge needed to successfully teach students enrolled in the seventh and eighth grade coding block. The three part series consists of the courses Exploring the Basics, Making Decisions, and Fundamental Skills.
